This is the sixth installment in a series highlighting the basketball teams participating in The Bank of Missouri Heartland Hoopfest 2008.

This will be the first appearance at The Bank of Missouri Heartland Hoopfest for Greene County Tech. The Paragould, Arkansas team had a very successful season last year with a record of 25-6 while playing in the 5 A East Conference. Caleb Hartwig, a 6'5" junior, is one of the top ten basketball players in the state of Arkansas. Wes Livingston, 6' 5" senior is currently being recruited by Moorehead State, Missouri Southern, Harding and Middle Tennessee State. Trase Davis, 6' 2" senior is also being recruited by Milsap, Missouri Southern, Williams Baptist and Christian Brothers. Zack Mitchell, 5' 8" senior, is currently being recruited by Williams Baptist, UMSL, and Missouri Southern. Hartwig, Livingston, Davis, Mitchell and 4 other returning lettermen will take on Chaminade High School, also in their first appearance.

Chaminade is an all-boys high school located in West County, St. Louis. Chaminade High School hopes to build on their impressive 19-8 record in the Metro Catholic Conference with their three returning letterman. Brandon Lockhart is one of those lettermen returning with an All-Metro Catholic Conference and an All-District award from last season. Lockhart is also being recruited by Florida, Kansas, Illinois, and Purdue University. Chaminade is boastful of their up tempo, defensive-minded, pressing style of playing basketball.

This game between Greene County Tech and Chaminade High School will take place at the Perry Park Center at 5:25 p.m. It will be followed by the game between Berkeley and Millingon Central, Tennessee at 7 p.m. Information on this game will be coming your way next week.
